I am trying to track down a sheet of 3/16" Black on White Laserable Engraving Stock. A customer came in with a piece the other day and we have purchased it in the past but my suppliers are unable to locate it. Do they not make 3/16" engraving stock anymore? Does anyone know where I might be able to locate a sheet?

Thanks for your help!

I don't remember IPI or Rowmark having anything that thick. The rotary engraving stocks tend to be thicker but of course the cap is too thick for lasering. If you can't find a supplier you could consider laminated two pieces yourself to get that thickess (eg 1/8" /3mm acrylic to 1/16" laserable black&white with PSA applied.) If you needed several sheets, Rowmark would probably do it (at least they say so on the website) but probably not for a few square feet.

Can it be acrylic?

If so buy a sheet of white and paint it black, then engrave.

I do this all the time for signage, I get black and spray it with Krylon Fusion
hammered metals series. Works well.

Delvies sell small sheets if you want to try it.

Here's some 1/8". You can look around and see if there is 3/16" or call them.
