As of the first of the year they raised many of the fees they charge to sellers by nearly 50%!

Any thoughts on how that will effect our ability to feed our addiction to old tools?

Also, here's a funny one...

There are about a dozen 6-Piece sets of Marples chisels, (with mallet), for sale over there with a "Buy It Now" price ranging from $39.99 to $52.

That's the same set Costco had (at least as late as last week) for $20! :p

Where do you think they bought them to resell?? :D .

I see a lot of stuff going for over retail! Why would somebody spent $50 for a Stanley chisel when you can get a matching new set for the same from Lie Neilsen? I don't know ...but they do! And then you have onesy twosy...and they don't match. Someone just paid $250 for a set of japanese chisels that looked like the Grizzly $12 each variety...????

And they probably paid as much for postage as Grizzly would charge to ship a jointer!
