This is not intended to be exhaustive, but rather I am listing lathes I've seen mentioned except the really top end models. The list prices shown are as of March 2011, mostly per Woodcraft.

I've been there - this was intended to be a less involved overview as we seem to be having a lot of 'which' lathe' questions lately. I also thought that there should be some data here.
