Got the lathe locally for $599 with the G3 chuck. Man what a difference. I am so use to taking very light cuts, I have to learn to go for it.
The last bowl I turned on the little Grizzly is Canary wood 5-1/4 diameter.

Congratulations, enjoy the new lathe. I upgraded from a Jet to a Woodfast VS a year ago and as you say what a difference. the Woodfast seems similar to yours

Congrats on the new lathe. I love my Delta but I would love to have a Mustard Monster. I guess just because alot of other people have one. It's a great lathe.
