Big Molding

Here is something I did when it was a little warmer than 12 degrees in the garage. It is a half Neander half electron project. I roughed out the shape on the tablesaw with a molding head and finished shaping with a Stanley 55.
I thought it would be cheaper to hand reproduce this than have molding cutters made but it took quite a while.

Made this to duplicate a rotted piece on an old victorian. 7' long 7" wide 2" thick.

Beautiful job Mike, it must give you a great deal of satisfaction to duplicate old style moldings by whatever method that works. Using a 55 to finish it out was just a plus.
