I am all the time looking at my cell phone to see the time and I know I can go buy a cheap clock for my wall in the shop but it would not be the same as a handmade one from scratch. Has anyone turned their own clock and added neat touches to it? I was thinking about a large round flat piece that could be made into a sawblade with maybe a wooden handsaw comming through it or something like that. I bought the clock parts a few weeks ago but cannot come up with anything. The clock movement is for a 3/4" board so that would be the final thickness. Any ideas or pictures out there?

Try google images section. Just go to Google then click on the images at top left then type in woodturning clock and you should get a lot of pictures of turned clocks plus other crap.
