I have a PM2000 3HP and wanting to buy a dado blade and am considering the SD608 freud dado blade. Has anyone used this blade on the PM2000? From reading some post on here people like the SD608 but not sure if it will work with the PM2000 to the full extent. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Thanks,

Jeff

Hi Jeff,

I use the Freud SD508 Super Dado on my Unisaw. Love it.

I've never used an adjustable dado like the SD608.

Jeff, I used to have a PM2000, I used the Freud SD508 and it worked incredibly well. The arbor was long enough for every width, I have not read anyone not being able to use the 608, should not be a problem on this saw. Either dado set will impress you.

The SD600 Freud dado will work just fine on your saw. It would be an excellent choice.

I never met an adjustable dado I really liked. But the Freud SD600 may be different. I use the SD508 and LOVE IT!

Well I have done some checking and decided on the Freud Dial a dado. Thanks for the input, I can always count on the forum! I just bought the Laguna 14" SUV bandsaw so I will have to let you all know how it works out. Tim at Laguna was very helpfull in the transaction.

One word "Dadonator"
Super smooth walls and flat bottoms. Perfect compliment to my PM2000
