There is a series of wood working video tutorials I'd like to have permanently on my computer. The site owner allows it, so it's OK.
They can be watched on the site but, I don't know how to download them to a disk or to my HD.
Can anyone help this non savvy old man?
Thanks.

Try and right click on the video link, there may be a dropdown menu that will have a Save... on it. You also need to know where it's going to download it to. May I ask what the site is?

RealPlayer free version has download capability.

Yup, realplayer works very well, and they have been around for years.. It also converts from one format to another. If you save your vids in the .rm (realmedia) format, the size becomes incredibly small, with virtually no loss in quality..

This works for me. Says it's for youtube but it'll capture most common video formats. It's only available for Firefox AFAIK. It also does screen captures.
