I am wanting to make a jewelry box using locked miter joints. The stock will be 1/2 inch thick. I would prefer to use a shaper cutter but can't seem to find one designated for use with 1/2 inch stock. Does someone make what I am looking for??? Or will I have to go with a router bit!!

I have not come across a locking mitre cutter suitable for 1/2" stock. There won't be much real estate available to make that joint. I made my first locking mitre on my TS in multiple steps and it worked out very well but was a genuine pain.

Perhaps you could just spline a mitre joint instead?

I use keys with miter joints on jewelry boxes. These can be cut either before or after the miters are glued up. I cut mine before gluing on the bandsaw to get a thin kerf. Just be accurate in the alignment. Also easier than cutting them on a TS.
Contrasting colored woods for the keys on each corner add a nice touch.
