Specialty Chest Top Hinge

Does anybody know where I can find a hinge like in the photo? I want the same drop down shelf in my design. I have found plenty of similar hinges, but not with that tab that lets me put the folding shelf in place.

Plus, I would like the hinge to protect from slamming (little fingers)

I have searched high and low. No luck. I even found a thread on another forum where the guy was lamenting the same problem. I was kind of hoping a chest builder here would have solved it. Whaa.

Sort of hard to see in the photo, but is it just a separate piece in the joint of the hinge that catches the shelf? Should be simple enough to drill out the rivet (or whatever the fastener may be), bend and form a piece of brass to insert, and then fasten everything together again.

Yes Thomas, that is all it is. And I guess that is what I will do.
