I need to purchase some 3/4" Baltic or Finnish plywood
near the Boston MA./Nashua NH area, any good ideas?
This will be used for interior workshop storage units.
Also, ideas about places to purchase 3/4" veneered hardwood plywood for some bookcases? Cherry, walnut, maple...
Usually I purchase at Woodcraft, but am looking for a second supplier as well.
Thanks,
Phil

In the Boston area you are fortunate to have Boulter Plywood in Somerville - they are one of the largest.

Now if I could only find a retail source where I live....

I 2nd the Boulter post, my year old price list shows 3/4 BB @ 109 for a 4x8 or $70 for 60" x 60", no mention of quality. They have just about anything you could want there, they have a web site.

Last week I also noticed the HD carries BB too but check it before you buy, I saw 13 ply in the 4x4 bin but the 4x8 was only 7 ply???? I didn't notice the price.

Just for comparision, a local place in Enfield Ct has 60" x 60" 3/4 @$40, they call it B/BB grade, whatever that means.

Phil, you should try Highland Hardwoods in Brentwood, NH. Very nice folks to deal with.

I have used Boulter in the past and really like them. Another source is Atlantic Plywood in Woburn, MA right off of Rt93. Good Luck

Paul, I'm in Woburn also. Does Atlantic sell to the general public?

Al-
I went over on the recommendation of a friend and they told me they are happy to sell retail. They gave me a price list and they seem competitive. They are over on Roessler Road.

Good to hear from another Woburn woodworker!
