Looking for a decent source for cabinet hardware, doesn't matter if it's a chain store, or mail order. Need good quality european style pocket hinges as well as real good slides, a good selection of handles/knobs would be a plus. I've used Constantines in the past but would like to see what else may be available.

Thanks

Hi Bob,

I've just recently been thinking about fabricating new cabinets for my kitchen. I've been doing some surfing and found cabinetparts.com. Looks like they have a good selection. Take a look over there, you may find what you need. I haven't used them yet but if I do undertake this project, I just might.

Good luck !

I've had pretty good luck buying hardware from Lee Valley. Last four jobs that I have done, I have got the hardware from the Lee Valley Hardware Catalog. So far the knobs, handles, and hinges have all been 1st class.

Their hardware catalog is seperate from their tool catalog.

This might sound crazy, but I got my drawer slides from woodpeckers (http://www.woodpeck.com/) I thought the price was awesome, but maybe someone knows different. Anyway, they are a great company, I highly recommend them.

Hello,

I sometimes get cabinet and project hardware from restoration hardware. I know they are not true ww hardware, but they have a nice selection and you can really get some deals if you get them on sale.
Sometimes I just go there to get ideas and then order something similar on lee valley. Just good to actually see the product.

Just my .02$

I have to agree with Ted for CSH, I just got 94 pounds of slides from them last week, unbelieveable pricing, good quality, and they don't gouge you on shipping.

Their pricing does make it a bit difficult to get to their $50.00 minimum order sometimes.

Bob,

The above is a great place as far as selections, prices, help line, etc. Only problem is $50 minimum to get the wholesale price but I never have problems in that area. Oh, another problem is the website is somewhat hard to work through but it is getting better.

Depending on what I'm doing I used Van Dykes restorers quite a bit.

you could try http://www.usacabinethardware.com I ordered from them on sunday night and low and behold Brown had left a package for me today , standard shipping. Thats fast.
I will also say CSH , My daughter and I drove up there 2 weeks ago to pick up some drawer slides, everthing in stock and very friendy and helpful. Even e-mailed me an invoice because the printer was down .
