Did this for a friend who is retiring from work after 30 years. The frame I engraved deeply and inset a piece of Romark laser engraveable gold, fitted in snug as a bug in a rug. The wood plaque is mahogany which was waxed and buffed prior to engraving. Two runs at 100pwr 45sp with two runs. Quite pleased with the result.

Gawd Frank, you're drawing skills really suck!
You need to find a comic book with Tippy the Turtle in the back page:

and send it in to learn how to draw!
Even I can draw better stickman than that, see:

;):D (Very nice work as always, just don't want to inflate you're ego too much now!)

Thanks guys - still can't get that turtle right no matter how much I try, always ends up looking like a tortoise. It's a wacom pencil I used.

Nice drawing as always, Frank! You handle that Wacom like a tech pen. Great expression on Ian's face, very deep in the eyes.
cheers, dee

Okay, wait a minute, Frank. Did you engrave the portrait and if so is that white Rowmark? I was thinking it was a drawing drawing.

No the picture is a drawing drawing, but I have to be honest, I was sorely tempted to engrave it. Just wasn't in the budget so I gave it a miss. Andrea it's a Bamboo, Cintiq is stuff I can only dream about!
