Hi all,

I've noticed in the past but can't seem to find now that some fourm members have used greatlakes casters on their units. Wonderd if anyone had any feedback on how they worked and if so which caster they used.

I've been given some great advise and drawings to build a stand from Rod but figured I would ask before I make my decision.

New unit comes early April and I want to be ready!!!

i use the zambus ac-300 (stem model) for my a3-31, not sure which great lakes is the equivalent. you could compare the specs think the ac-300 is something like 250lb ea. one or two of the holes has to be enlarged slightly but it easy to do.

+1 for Zambus casters. I also have some zambus knock-offs from great lake casters, but they are clearly not of the same quality (pressed vs cast, lots of 'slop').

Cheers,
Bernhard

Post 27 of this thread has some pictures of the great lakes casters on my A3-31. Very happy with them.
