i want to get some good ideas what some of you use to mount your power switch cords to the outside of a wood cabinet?

i have my router cabinet put together (Bench Dog) and the top mounted along with my router and the power switch. the cord for the router comes out the back of the cabinet and i have the power switch mounted on the left side and the two cords hanging down the left side for now. i want to come down six inches or so and curve them straight to the back of the cabinet and around the corner.

i had some of the little white plastic wire loop holders you open up around the wires and screw it down but i want something 'cool' to hold the cords with as little damage as possible to the baltic birch cabinet.

please tell or show me your ideas.

thanks

Do you mean something like a cable raceway or conduit?

I don't use anything. PITA if I want to take the router out of the cabinet.

You could mount something that allows you to coil the cord around it and then then end can plug into the switch. This assumes, of course, that your cord is sufficiently long. I suppose that you could also mount a single plug inside the case and run the cord out so that the router plugs in inside the case. You would want to seal the box very well and use only a single plug. Seems like dust can get into everything, however...

you know the little plastic loops you put around a cord and it has a hole you put a screw in and mount it.

here is a pic of another type i found to give you an idea

i might use a mount for a zip tie since they are stick on and i dont have to worry about screw holes.
they just dont look the best.

Well, if you want cool cable management, check out Mockett, for instance http://www.mockett.com/furniture-hardware/wire-cable-management/wire-managers/wm16.html They have other cable management solutions if you don't like that one, so look around the site.
