Hello everyone, I really like the design of spalted that seems drawn with ink of china ... the holes of the worms also make it more alive ... wax finish

Francesco - great looking vase! Very pretty wood and I agree with you that spalted wood really adds to the beauty of a turning! Also like the worm holes - just that little extra something to add character to the piece!

Beautiful vase,the wood and your work are both outstanding.Might be a little fancy for a fence post finial.

Thanks to everyone for the compliments .... it was great fun turning this piece of wood that looked ready to be thrown in the trash .... very exciting to dig at the risk of breaking everything .... I'm glad you like .... sorry for my bad english ... :o
