I added a riser block kit and replaced the tension crank knob with a crank handle on my Jet JWBS-14 bandsaw. Is there any reason to keep the old blade guards, post, bolt, and threaded rod/handle? How about the used blades? If not, are these of any value?

Bump. Should I toss these parts?

I'd put them in the classifieds, if you don't foresee going back to "unrisered". Someone may be looking for parts to rebuild a bandsaw, lots of these are interchangeable among many brands.

Thanks Kevin. I guess that's what I'm wondering, if I will ever want to remove the riser, or if a future buyer will want the parts. Probably best for me to keep 'em for a little while, get back in the shop, and quit worrying about it.
