After much c-list hunting and finding nothing I wanted in my price range I finally pulled the trigger on a new saw. I found it on sale for $50 off and used a HF coupon for another 20% bringing my $600 saw down to $468.75 after tax! The Asst. Mgr at Lowes didn't like it but said since they told me I could use HF coupon he had to let me.
I'll post a good review after I try it out this weekend. I can say after puting it together the instructions are not bad. The rails and side tables are a bear to get dead flat but I was alone also. In the pic my shop floor isn't dead flat and I haven't leveled the saw yet so my nickel test had to have a flat base. The saw is smooth and quiet.
