Recently finished this table in walnut and tiger maple. The drawer opens from both sides of the table. Finished with one coat of shellac, 4 coats of satin poly.

Very nice. A coffee table needs to be beefy, because kids will climb all over it. That looks great.

Nice first post Collin. Can't beat the walnut/ maple combo. And wow that maple sure has some nice figure.
