Hi:
I have uploaded a 3 part series on turning a plate or small platter. It shows one way of doing it. :D

The playlist is available at: http://www.youtube.com/view_play_list?p=AD949FBE2608C610

Take care

Another great tutorial, Bob. I noticed the resolution and sound in the video are really good... You've become quite the producer/director/star turner!

Thanks for the video Bob. Even if one is not planning to make a platter, I recommend watching as there are lots of tips and ideas that apply to woodturning in general.

I never watched many videos on you tube before but we got a new dvd player for Christmas because it had netflix on it. Well it also has you tube on it and it is fantastic to pull up all these woodturning videos and watch them on my tv rather than my laptop. I'm gonna go load this one up now. Thanks Bob!

I really like Bob's videos. His presentation style is unassuming and egoless. I particularly like the way he questions and second-guesses his own actions. He says outloud what we are thinking.

Keep them coming, please!
