Gotta like a saw that has three speeds and a neutral. Not sure about making furniture out of railroad ties though.

Wow. That's like a sawmill in the shop! I wonder if that's on a mobile base? That wood looks more like a recycled barn timber than a rail road tie to me, given the lace of creosote coating. Those Brits will recycle anything though since they cut down all the live trees.

I second the "more out-feed space". Also, Peter; what would a mobile base really do for a machine like that? :D

That has to weigh around 1000lbs.:p

That video comes from the folks at http://www.indigofurniture.co.uk/. Their furniture is strange. It is clearly high-end stuff, but they go to great lengths to make it look crude.

Do you think they make a thin kerf blade for that saw?

The lack of outfeed made me nervous watching the video. The board that was ripped was left between the blade and fence until the saw stopped.
