Wax in the crannies results

First off thanks gentlemen for your advice.
Here's the end result and a couple of other recent projects.

The second is purple heart finshed with wipe on poly.

The third is maple burl with Waterlox.

Bottom is myrtle burl.

They're all very nice, but I like the Maple the best.

Acetone and a toothbrush, reluctantly. I had to reapply the finish.

The maple was my favorite also. I gave it to my SIL. They have maple cabinets in their kitchen and she told me how nice it would look in there.
I gotta get another piece of that stuff for myself.
