I saw another post asking about Mitch a few weeks ago, I don't remember, but someone said he is ok, just super busy... IIRC

From time to time people suddenly realize Mitch is not posting anymore and ask about him. I sent him an email and his answer indicated he had re-ordered his life and was very busy. He felt that he did not have the time to spend on SMC. Unfortunately, a loss to both.

Actually, that is good news. Don't get me wrong...I do miss him here. But I certainly can understand and appreciate somebody having a life outside of the internet.
