Jim, the only way that I would know how to do that would be to put the URL to the pics directly into the message box, with the appropriate bracketed HTML tags, but I haven't played with it, yet.

All I'm doing is checking to see how badly I mangled the pic when I resized it. That is if I managed to get it here at all.

Your picture came out fine KC. Who is that holding you?

Bill

You do it like this:

This is a test for being able to explain HTML. This was a pain on WebBBS.

An HTML image tag looks like:

&lt;img src="http://users2.ev1.net/~arbuckle/temp/BLOvsRaw.jpg"&gt;

The resulting picture would be:

<img src="http://users2.ev1.net/~arbuckle/temp/BLOvsRaw.jpg">

Dave
(picture chosen because it's small... ;) )

I think the only way to do multiple pics- at this time is to have the pics hosted on a seperate web site then reference them in your message like this
< img src="http://www.yourwebsite.com/images/yourpic.jpg"> (don't include the space before img). then you can just do the same for however many you want to post..
If you don't have a web site to host the pics on there are free sites that do that - just do a google search to find one.
Hope this helps

Thanks mainly for the advice 'bout "not tangling w/Ken"! He could probably woop my butt with one hand tied behind his back. ('Course *that* hand would be hanging on to his Bud Light, so's he wouldn't spill it!:D ). I don't have a remote hosting site at the moment, but may indeed do so, especially if I intend on posting anything of any proportion.:p

Never mind - it didn't work

Bummer. But, it sounds like a challenge to me. Gonna' try it anyway.

OK, I just spent a fair amount of time on this. Hope it works!

Wow! They were there last night, but now aren't! I think I need to do something different at the HP photo site.

Fine, so I went back to the photo site and used a different option. I think *this* time it may work.

Nope. Didn't work. Need to find a different place to store pics, I guess.:(

I hate when I do that! I left a space in my tag on the first one.

You're right-- you left a space in that first URL.
Remember, though, you can click on the little 'Edit' button
at the bottom of the post.

I went ahead and fixed it for you :)

Thanks, it's so much easier when someone else does my thinking for me.:D

Howard,

That's pretty nice panelling you knocked up for your shop. I think I would have painted it white so it reflects light better - makes finishing easier.

Personally, I find that plants and curtains (drapes) collect so much dust I have eliminated them and I have replaced the lamps and shades with fluorescents.

Seriously, is any of this your work?

Chris

All that nice woodwork...It's just the waiting room at the front of his shop. The shop itself primarily has closed cabinets and light colored marble on the walls where there aren't any of the Walnut cabinets.
Seriously, very nice!:)

Yes, the paneling is my work in my house. The cabinets are store bought. SWMBO wouldn't wait for me to build them.
