The drill wizard comes with a "1 post, unfortunatly my lathe has a "5/8 post, does anyone know of a comparable product with a 5/8 post? I would even be ok with DIY plans to make my own out of wood or something along those lines, I would just like to be able to take advantage of the drill indexing feature on my 1220, thanks for any help on this, Tim

Tim, go out and get the current issue of Woodturning Design (then subscribe!) It has an entire article on building a drill guide - kind of a take offf from the Oneway Drill Wizard.

I had the same problem. Except the opposite. My tool rest was 1 1/4". I made a sleeve out of gavanized pipe. Took some filing. Well baybe it was a lot of filing. I also rilled a hole through the sleeve for the bolt.

Hope that helps.

John beat me to it but it is a really nice article. Woodturning Design is a great magazine.

I removed the 1" and purchased a 5/8 from Woodcraft and tapped a hole in the end and bolted it to the Drill Wizard. Works great.
