This is turned from a piece of old weathered walnut firewood. Lots of cracks but pretty solid in the bowl part. It's about 10" across at the widest, 3/8" thick in the wings. Finished with AO and then waxed with briwax.

Boy Curt that is one nice looking bowl. For being weather that wood turned out beautiful.

Very country lookin, like you may see in a log cabin somewhere. I like it, and like the tail you left on it.

this is super..love the "handle"..it makes this stand out from the crowd! A wonderful "save" from the firewood pile. Worth being cold 'fer a spell!!
