Hi all.
I just finished restoring (well still have to rewire the motor) 1943 DP220 Delta/Milwaukee 14" Drill press .. My Father in law passed last year and he has had this since right after WWII - It has had no maint. to say other then more paint. It was still drilling though,
I replaced all bearings (Pulley bearing, Spindle bearings. New Jacobs chuck.. and return spring.
Hand scraped 3 layers of paint off down to bare metal. primed and painted. Hoping it will go fo another 60+ years.. Gotta love this real steel stuff.
