A lot of it is an ad but holy moley 15 terabytes of RAM, 2870 processor cores and 80 teraflops/second? Awesome gaming machine :cool:. What I find most remarkable as a layman is the software to enable that many components to operate together efficiently. I read another article about WATSON that made me lol though. An IBM researcher that worked on it made a remark to the effect that using a room full of state-of-the-art hardware they've partially duplicated the function of a biological device that will fit in a shoe box and runs on a tuna sandwich. :D
