I am finishing my first gallon of this CV so I'm still green as grass when it comes to experience. I sprayed two thin coats of Ultraseal first and then top coat with the CV. How many coats of CV would you recommend for cabinets? I've done three (2-4 mils thick) and get a good finish-just not perfect. (I know to get a superior finish I should rub out-I just don't have the time on this job and need to get the best I can off the gun.) Thanks for your response.

Three is right on as far as durability goes.

I sand hardwood to 180, and veneer to 320. Then I generally spray two coats of EM8000, then skitter-sand, then shoot one more coat. I go to four coats for stuff I think is really going to get abused, like the front of the sink base cabinet. By skitter-sanding, I mean just very light sanding with very fine sandpaper -- 600-800 grit. I do it by hand, and it is very quick. It is amazing that just a swipe with the sandpaper makes the coating feel smooth instead of rough.
