This one's a quickie. I have been making new kitchen cabinets with the tongue and groove method, which entails a lot of glue ups. Running a lot of glue lines with the original bottle makes my old hands ache after a while. I have also tried other bottles with the same results.

Tip: At the local 99 cent store, I picked up a pair of ketchup and mustard bottles. They are made from such flimsy plastic that they are really easy to squeeze. Running glue lines with them is quick and easy. Cheezy as they are, when one goes bad, pour the glue into the next one and throw it away. Two for a buck, it's not worth trying to clean the spouts out.

Not intending to hijack your thread, but I reuse French's 20 oz. mustard containers as glue dispensers. Has a built in cap to keep your Titebond fresh. They're free after you eat enough hot dogs.

You must not have kids....

Actually I do. I guess they make fair adhesives....but excellent dyes. :)

Just be careful. I tried those cheap Ketchup and Mustard bottles and if you squeeze too hard the tops sometimes pop off and you get a lot of glue in a hurry. DAMHIKT.

Since your making kitchen cabinets, don't forget and leave these in the kitchen. You might have food that really sticks to your ribs. :D

Awesome tip. I've been searching for a cheapo glue dispenser. Too cheap to buy those really nice glue bottle kits with the spreaders and stuff. I use an old gift card for a glue spreader.

Good idea. Gorilla glue is such a pain when the bottle is almost empty.

Great idea, but I have fallen in love with Fast cap's GlueBot.
