Short Jointer?

I was chuckling a bit in the shop today while jointing some pieces to fit together to make the top of a bird house.

We often see someone wondering what size plane to get as a jointer.

Well, it depends on what is being jointed.

The edge needs to be planed at about 77° for all the pieces to fit together as wanted.
