Just curious, is there a chat room on Sawmill Creek? If so I haven't been able to find it. I suspect not. I would love to be able to chat with the turners here like I do on Wood Central and WOW.

The Lumberyard is a great place to share info but not a live chatroom if that's what you're looking for. Don't know if there is one.

Several years ago we had chat software installed on our server. It was removed because it was abused by a small group of people who felt it necessary to use racist remarks and share stories that were shocking, not just insensitive remarks.

Because our chat server wasn't moderated and we didn't have a large enough Staff to provide the necessary parental supervision for this group the chat software had to be removed.

It saddens me that the majority here have been penalized for the sins of a few.
