Since I will be wiring my new shop I am thinking about taking my "3 phase" output from the RPC and making a run all the way around the shop. I will put in 6 or so large boxes and fold up enough wire in each one to wire an outlet later if I like, as of now I will only be feeding one machine. My question is does anyone know if there is a NEC issue with putting this "3 phase" power back into the wall? I am not concerned about the inspector since where I am located a detached non-residence building (aka shed) doesn't have to be inspected, I just want to know the reasoning behind it if it is NEC verboten.

i don't know about the code but a downside I can see is that all your 3 phase machines would be running off the same breaker ( the one for the rpc). I used my rpc to power a 3 phase panel so I could add circuits as I needed them, all properly protected by breakers. I have a pretty big convertor. It will start 25hp and run 75 if started individually.
