This is one of those pedestal type, winged, natural edged, bark edged, off center turned, lidded vessel type thingys.
14" x 5", scrub (gambel) oak.

I've liked all your other pieces, but this one I especially like. Rustic yet elegant. It's like showing up to a New York opera in a Dodge 4x4 Dually.

Really cool turning Curt! Got a little of something for everyone there - especially like the contemporary/modern art slant! Very nice work!

Curt, you certainly have a unique side to your artistic flair!! This one is out there - very, very different. Every time I look at these multi-axis stems and finials, I see golf clubs! They seem to remind me of a big wood driver - and, I don't even play golf!

Very interesting combination of funky and rustic... I think rustic funky is a good description! Thanks for sharing.

New wild west funk! I like it. I can only imagine the soundtrack you listen to (internally or externally) when you turn these pieces

Curt, this is really cool. By itself is would have been great, but adding the offset turning really improves the overall design. Great job!
