I recently purchased a Freud LU79R010 on Amazon for 65ish and got the package and they said they were back ordered and sent me an LU80R010 as a replacement. It looks about like the same blade. Did I get a good deal or should I be concerned and return it. I will be using this mostly for cutting plywood.

Thanks

Those two blades have the same tooth configuration, same geometry, and same tooth count, but the LU80 is a 1/8" full kerf blade, and the LU79 is a 3/32" thin kerf. Thin kerf is easier to spin, but the full kerf is more stable. For 3/4" material, just about any saw should be able to handle the full kerf version. I wouldn't be too concerned....$65 for that blade is a nice deal, and it's an excellent ply and fine crosscut blade.

What saw will you be using?
