Anybody usig? Saw YouTube videos and the tool looks well thought out. While it is priced higher than other gauges, it looks like it does way more faster. Let me know your thoughts.

I bought one of those at the Atlanta wood show when they where released.. They would not let me pick it up until the last day of the show..

Its awesome.. Very clever design..

Its perfect for ensuring Jointer blades are level.. Would be great for leveling a drum sander, setting a table saw fence, Pretty much anything you can think of ..

It can be set up for using with your shaper, or setting the depth on a router, or table.. Pretty impressive tool.

Looks like it would be a great tool ... if it was priced at about $75-$80 ... for $200, I'll pass and make my own. Home made might not be as fancy, but, due to the nature of the dial indicator and it's ability to be zeroed on any surface ... there's really nothing that "system" can do that I can't replicate ... in fact, I have one or two that I consider my versions superior to theirs.

Bumping this thread because I am thinking about buying one of these and wanted to know if there was anyone else out there who owns one and cares to chime in.

Here are some links for those that dont know about these:

Don't have that critter, but I do have other things made by Betterley, and their quality is excellent.

A cheaper option that many people use is this:

Yes I have seen that option but its just not nearly as versatile. Though the half the price factor is attractive and it certainly looks well made.

Even cheaper is magnetic base, DI, block of wood and two bolts. That's what I use.

I have the Una-Gauge and am very happy with it. I also have one of Betterley's Stacc-Vac's which was used a lot on a PC 7518 and is now on a Bosch MRF23EVS router. Everything they make is well made.

Thanks Mike. Good to hear at least someone out there has one and is happy with it. I emailed them yesterday with a list of a few questions I had on it, havent heard back but hopefully I will soon. I certainly does look like a nice unit, but Im starting to wonder how much it would cost to have my own milled out of aluminum and be able to use a Starrett gauge...

Just wanted to update this thread. I got the UNA-Gauge and have been using it the past couple of weeks. So far its been everything it claims to be and everything I wanted and couldnt find anything else comparable to. I highly recommend it.
