Here is the router table we've been working on to go in the left wing of the Unisaw. The only thing I did different was to put T track next to the router plate to be use for feather boards. I'll be building the router fence that is in the November Wood magazine to be used with this table.

Bart,

How about a pic of the underside? I'm wanting to build an extension router table myself, but I'm unsure on how to connect it to the cast iron table and rails.

Here is what we did to fasten the router table to the saw.

Using a plunge router we routed the MDF in from the edges & then using a huge round over bit rounded the material over or using a Rotozip routed & angled the sides of the area so we could get into where we needed to to install the bolts to the saw table top or the nuts & bolts for the fence.

The MDF was cut to fit tight inside the 13/16" thick oak frame & when the routing was done glue was applied & the double layer of MDF was slid into the frame face down & aligned with the top edge of the oak frame & nailed with a 15 gage nail gun.

I hope this helps.
