Was curious to see what current users of this machine (1 phase motor) were using in terms of breaker size and wire gauge. I have about a 30 foot run from the panel. Machine does not arrive until March, but want to get the electrical installed now. My thoughts are 10/3 or 12/3 cable, NEMA 6-30, and 25 amp breaker. Appreciate your feedback.

Scott,
i'm Canadian so mine came with CSA electrical approval.

Mine is marked 16 amperes, protection not to exceed 20 amperes.

Felder can advise you on whether yours will have a maximum protection requirement also.

Mine's using a 6-20R with a 20A breaker.........Regards, Rod.

I have Hammer A3-31. You only need 12/2 wire, 20 amp circuit with nema 6-20p outlet. 20 amp breaker is fine, per Felder USA.
