One thing I like to make is saw horses and saw tables. They are also good for sitting on at the work bench. Quite often they are just made out of scrap pieces or what ever happens to be extra around the shop. Most of the time my tendency is to use 15° for every angle. Just for fun, when the second saw table was built recently it was made with all angles at 10°. When making the stool for Candy (my wife) the splay would have been too much so it was reduced to 5°.

The two big ones are my saw benches and the little one is a stool made for Candy and palmed off as a Valentine's day project. OK, so a little heart was carved into the underside and 2011 was engraved into it.
In the picture the stool is not yet finished, but I wanted to take the picture anyway. The stool is now finished and in the house. Candy wants to paint it when the weather gets better.
