Greetings,
I am looking for a good light to use on the bench when cutting dovetails.
Any Suggestions?
Thanks,
Victor

How are you going to mount it?

I have two t12s in a fixture right above the bench, and another portable clip-on CFL desk light that I can stick on anything nearby (from behind my head, or clipped to the vise on the bench next to the WW bench, etc). I think the combination works well, and it was cheap.

It's not the big swinging desk light that you'd remember from the 80s, but one with an oversized "chip bag" style clip and a flexible neck - whole thing from clip to lamp end is about 18 inches.

My approach is somewhat similar to David's; cheap and movable. I built a three-legged stand to hold a clip-on work light. I can move the stand around, and move the light up and down. Sometimes it does get in the way, or I'm afraid I'll bump my elbow into it and send the light crashing. A nicer solution might be something that hangs on an articulated arm from the ceiling.
