Question on Lasercut 5.3 Power setting

Beside the Laser button on the home page of Lasercut 5.3 there is a power setting. Mine says 45.0 is that a default setting or can that be changed. It is in a gray box and can not change it by clicking on it. Or does that setting not effect anything. Thanks

Im not sure I follow you send me a screen shot, I use 5.3

Here is what he is talking about, see the attachment. The portion that says "Power" should not be greyed out, 45 refers to the Laser power being 45 percent of its rated power, if set to say 75 it would be 75percent of the rated power. Amos:)

Mine also says 45, but it is Greyed out. I have no idea how to change it.

However, I have to believe that I am getting full power from the laser when I program the cut/engrave settings in the Layer/Mode box
