Was looking for some help with a rotary font and David Takes was nice enough to offer some insight.
I'm looking for some help converting some US Block 1L files into something I can laser engrave. David tells me someone with a newer version like Gravostyle5 or 6 may be able to covert the file.

I appreciate any help.

I'm not sure that will work for you. You're talking about a font that is single line--in other words, everything you convert is going to look like stick figures. The example you showed was probably engraved with a .125" cutter or larger which is how the width of the letters is determined.

On second thought, if you can import the file into Corel you may be able to use the contour tool to replicate the look.

It would take some work in Corel as you'd have to weld circles to the ends and other place to get the look. Probably not worthwhile.

The picture is my NH single line block and is not exactly the same as you're looking for.
