Pallet wood?

A pair of tables, made fro the runners of some oak pallets. Oval tops. There is a bottom shelf, somewhere under all those books. Legs turned on my old lathe, with another square section for the bottom shlef to sit at. Golden oak stain, two coats of poly. They were made two years apart, took that long to get enough good Oak. :rolleyes:182119182118

Pallet wood is a great source of material. The lower quality stuff has served me for many mock-ups and prototypes of new ideas without the fear of fouling up. Those tables are hardly cast offs however. Beautiful job and a re-use of good material to boot. Well done.
