I hesitate to ask because I'm sure these font questions get old. Font's seem to be one of the toughest obstacles when try to match fonts for customers.
Anyway, this font has a funny looking r. Almost looks like Arial Rounded but has some different characteristics?

I'm guessing that that was rotary engraved with a mechanical machine.

You are correct. That is New Hermes rotary engraving font US Block 1L. It is an engraving font not a TrueType.

That looks like single line Helvetica to me. Good luck.
