460,000 Compressors Recalled

The Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) and DeVilbiss Air Power Co. announced a voluntary recall of about 460,000 air compressors under the Craftsman, Delta, DeVilbiss, Husky, and Porter-Cable brand names.

Thanks for the heads up....I will be out of my houseshoes and into some tenny runners and in my shop checking my Husky 25 gallon vertical compressor shortly!

Interesting the list on Finewoodworking is different from the list on the retail poster the story links to. I have a compressor that is within date range of one but has one number different in the model number. On the retail poster it shows all the Craftsman compressors under the recall were Canadian. Just wonder where FWW got the different list.

There was a member here (I think he lived in Shrevport LA) who had a CM compressor melt down and he caught it in time, wonder if his was one of these.

Mine wasn't on the list. It was a C-H clone..and 26 gallon...whew!
