I'm trying to make some QR codes (bar codes) and am having difficulty finding a correct material. I have played with some Laser Max and LaserLites material with no luck (yet). Does anyone have a suggestion of materials and what color combination works best. I guess I'll have to invert the image in Corel but that will depend on the color combination. As always....thanks

How durable does it need to be? I find black anodized aluminum plate to offer very high contrast and great resolution for even the smallest of QR codes.

Dan---I haven't tried anodized alum. yet but I will tomorrow. I do have concerns about durability, but one step at a time.

I know ordinary white engraves black or yellow engraves black plastic works fine for normal barcodes, I've never tryed it on QR codes..

I like the black anodized aluminum. It's more durable than you might think. Depending on the application laser sublimation on silver or brass colored aluminum might be satisfactory.
