That is really something. The workmanship is great but the design is even more impressive. I can't imagine how you planned out all of those cuts.

Outstanding work.,but that looks awfully complicated to me. I would cut a finger off trying to figure out where and how to cut it. Love the spalted wood though.

That's a neat way to put lathe work together with bandsaw work. They look like what I've seen as "bandsaw boxes," although the ones I've always seen are just various sizes of square and rectangular wood chucks, all cut on a bandsaw to make really cool boxes. This is an even more creative way to combine your turning with bandsawing. Very cool!

I should propbaly have explained again in the "more boxes" thread. I did not turn these. My sister saw them while shopping in Brasilm, where she lives, and got permission to photograph them for me. I WISH I could do stuff like this.
