Any brands out there that folks are aware of that have the sliding table saw / shaper combo, for about $3K.....maybe $4K if I had to ?

I assume you mean new, if so no sorry unless there is a cut rate brand that I don't know of. Consider the Hammer (one of the least expensive brands) is right at 7K for B3, even just their basic K3 saw on sale, is $3K not kitted out nor shipped. Consider Grizzly's cheapest slider G0700 is right at $2800 shipped and they don't make a combo.

I have the Grizzly G0623X slider and it costs just under $3000. As stated above, no shaper. Maybe that and a separate shaper would get you reasonably close to your price point, especially if you searched Craig's list for the shaper. I'm pretty happy with the saw. I wrote a review you could find by searching posts by my name.

Rojek makes combo machines. There's one on the Los Angeles area CL for $6k.

Her listing is a heart-tugger but maybe she'd be willing to take less.

Don't know where you are, but here's what looks like a good used one for sale in your price range:
