It doesn't look like carbon fiber from the relatively poor photo included.

There is no way in heck that guy will sell a $49,000 rocket motor on Craigslist without some better photos and more information about the motor. Unless it is some rare rocket motor from an Apollo mission or something there is likely no way it is worth even 10% of the asking price.

hmmm - it's only 10,000 pounds of thrust....
The dead weight in the family totals more.
That leaves out my idea of building a rocket and sending them all into space.
