I like your light design much more than the traditional pedestal style. Excellent execution.

Cheers, Garrett

Neat design and execution. I ought to build one of those from my wife who is still getting along on a manicurist's table I built for my daughter. What that woman puts up with amazes me. I like the project.

To repeat, nice design and workmanship. Very clean lines and probably very easy to find a nice home in just about anyone's house! (Whew...Good thing we don't have room for more stuff like that or LOML would have me......)

Did you use a plan, or your own design?

Thanks for the kind words. Howard, it was a little of both, I looked at plans from "Wood" and "Plans Now" and combined features, added features and resized for my needs.

Jim -

Very nicely designed! Did you have a trouble with the tambor roll-top?

I won't be showing this one to LOML.

Well done,
Ted

Jim,

Very nice job! So many roll top desks look bulky and dominating, but yours looks light and unobtrusive. I like it!

Really Nice Jim,

I love the tapered legs. I sure could put one of those to use!

Thanks for posting your work.

Jennifer :)

Just noticed that the behind the scenes workers have heeded the hints that "junior member" was a little irritating to some. It didn't bother me since at 83 I know whether or not I am a junior, but I think it shows how much is being done to cater to the vast needs of group such as this. Kudos to Keith, et al.? -----Well it is close to my meaning.(-:

Jim,
Very nice Work!!! A made a couple several years ago, but I can't remember which magazine I captured the plans from. Refresh my feeble mind.

...like others, I was expecting to see the "standard" desk. Refreshing and well crafted.
